Destination - Burlington, Vermont

We've decided to take mini road trip to Burlington, Vermont tomorrow. I've been to the state a few times now for work and always look forward to the drive (the farmland and mountain views from the highway are among the most beautiful I've ever seen).

Unfortunately these business trips never leave much time for sightseeing. We'll be taking Interstate 89 all the way up to Burlington and then on to the islands of Lake Chaplain. If anyone has any suggestions on any places (restaurants, local shops, farms, viewing points, fun tourist attractions) we should check out along the way, please let me know!

  3. I used to have a favorite Italian eatery in Burlington, but it was so many years who knows if it is even there. I am so jealous, I have not done that drive since college. Have a great weekend!!

  4. Oh, it's so beautiful up there! We lived on Lake Champlain (NY side) for 1 year in 1964. I can't give you any suggestions since I haven't been there in many many years. Have a wonderful trip!
