I went out this evening to take a few photos and noticed for the first time this year that the garden is starting to look alive and green. Sure there are plenty more seeds to sow and seedlings to transplant but what's in the ground right now is responding positively to the warmer conditions. I tried to get as much digging, planting and weeding done today as I could before the showers arrive tomorrow. My back and legs ache at the moment but I'll have plenty of updates to show for it! Stay tuned!
P.S. I hope all of you New Englanders were able to enjoy the fantastic weather today as well!

ReplyDeleteWell, I should say so! It's looking gorgeous. If mine makes it through tonight, it should be clear sailing from tomorrow on. I planted my tomatoes yesterday, now we're expecting it to plunge into the thirties tonight :-(

ReplyDeleteThomas your garden looks fantastic! One thing about gardening is that you are guaranteed a double ache (which, btw is eco friendly unlike double cupping)- the first aches on planting and the second aches on harvesting! Ah, but it's so worth it!

ReplyDeleteThis weekend I was working in the garden from morning until evening. But I sleep so much better after full day of garden work, then after a full day of office work.
