Tomatoes!!! More specifically, our first cherry tomatoes of the year. We picked these beautiful vine-ripened Sungolds on Monday and to our delight, they were very sweet and tasty. In fact, I had to fight Jonathan for two of them.
Congratulations on the tomatoes!!! I am glad that you were able to enjoy two of them so far. Remember last year when there were so many tomatoes to deal with :)
Lucky you, I recently read a book called "Stronger Than Dirt" about a couple that sold cut flowers and Sungold tomatoes...between that book and a couple other bloggers good reports about earliness and flavor I am convinced I need to grow them next season. Enjoy, they do look delicious.:)
I've been eating mine too. They are so good.
ReplyDeleteThey are many a gardener's favorite for a reason. :)
ReplyDeleteHooray!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats....hopefully those are just the first on many!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Tomato envy!! I have 2 Sungold plants so I'm hoping for lots of sweet treats this year! Most times few make it into the house!!
ReplyDeleteWe are growing Sungold's as well...we've only had a few ripen so far and they get eaten right out there in the garden. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Hopefully, the cherry tomatoes keep coming for you, all summer and into the fall. Then you won't have to fight over them :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so doing sungolds next year. I liked my friend's so much better than my black cherry toms.
