It's Good to be Home, Summer Artichokes

DSC_0033
We're expecting a bumper crop of artichokes this year. I have four in the fridge waiting to be devoured.

Our trip to Burlington, Vermont was amazing. It was the first time Marc, Jonathan and I went on a mini-road trip and stayed at a hotel. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back in a few months when the fall foliage is at it's peak. We visited an amazing farm and took a long scenic drive through the Lake Champlain islands. I also remembered to take lots of pictures on this trip, which I'll post within the next couple of days.

  1. Really spectacular artichokes. I've never grown them. About how many buds do you get per plant?

  3. Oh thanks for the photo of the artichokes, I have never seen them growing before. I have some in the garden, but they are just teeny little seedlings yet. I hope they end up looking as fabulous as yours.

Is there anything special you do for them?
