A Lesson on Permaculture

The other day, I came across this rather amazing BBC documentary entitled, "A Farm for the Future":

You can also view this program here. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

  1. The Brits always have great shows. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  2. These were so very good..thank you for linking them with your blog..

I learned a lot...know about "grass farming"...but also realized our property (as yours also) might be considered a small holding...but a gardeners small holding and not a farmers. We have trees all around us, and cattle used to graze here..our grass is very diverse and doesn't suffer like other lawns..people often comment on our green area..but until watching these videos..I didn't give it much thought.

GMO salmon..ahem..yes saw that also in the newspaper...can't be good I don't think.

  3. Thank you so much for posting this video. Really gives you something to think about.

  4. THANK YOU for sharing!! This is an amazing video!!

  5. VERY thought provoking, Thomas. Makes me want to look through nut tree catalogs. Thanks for this.
