The bulbs and greens can also be sauteed together in a stir-fry.

I'm crossing my fingers when it comes to my fall carrots. I chose two types that are supposed to be pretty cold hardy. And the same for the radishes...

I am forever amazed by the power (magic?) of seeds. Not only are they amazing storehouses of genetic information, but they are a direct link to everyone who has grown previous generations of those plants and collected seeds before you - what stories they could tell!Michellehttp://fromseedtotable.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-7563252188026038982009-10-26T13:28:35.451-04:002009-10-26T13:28:35.451-04:00Ribbit - I grow the turnips mostly for the bulbs b...Ribbit - I grow the turnips mostly for the bulbs but the greens are delicious as well. I'm not going to cover it so I have to get going on it. I love the turnips too. I might have to try growing them again. I know they hate it in my garden for some reason, but if I grow them under row covers like the brassicas and radish maybe they will grow.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-66130986269250690692009-10-25T22:40:57.932-04:002009-10-25T22:40:57.932-04:00What a nice set up you have there!
