The problem is when a new one comes along and I don't know if it's good, bad, or whatever. LindaG went to one of my favorite sites for identifying bugs - bugguide.net has a lot of great photographs. And of course you can alway post a photo and ask the blogging community!michellehttp://fromseedtotable.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-35771632628897383562010-06-22T14:39:05.439-04:002010-06-22T14:39:05.439-04:00Your insects and produce are all looking really go...Your insects and produce are all looking really good right now Thomas! :)Nutty Gnomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06146296943319504785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-85016831309180431102010-06-22T13:58:12.190-04:002010-06-22T13:58:12.190-04:00I was trying to figure out what it was, and saw Da...I was trying to figure out what it was, and saw Daphne's comment. I do keep a can of wasp & hornet spray just in case they build a nest near the kids' playset, but other than that when I see a pest I always have to research and decide what I'm going to do about it, I don't have an aresenal anymore, I don't keep anything on hand except some insecticidal soap!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06916896512933101955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-4844433472428344662010-06-22T08:43:32.616-04:002010-06-22T08:43:32.616-04:00Worms, bees, lady bugs, spiders, and praying manti...Worms, bees, lady bugs, spiders, and praying mantis - all welcome. Now we'll listen to the real radio in hopes of hearing one of their songs. It's a cheap trick, but it keeps me in good music.

We have those red and blue bugs too. That will change I'm sure. The cabbage butterflies have already found the place. I don't have any brassicas for them to eat so I'm safe, but I'm sure other nasties will come and then the good ones. I'll have to make some nice places for the beneficials to live.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-32247919866408223152010-06-22T02:43:07.673-04:002010-06-22T02:43:07.673-04:00I think its true what you say about viewing things...I think its true what you say about viewing things in a different light once you know they are there to help you.Shaylahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05335536840138314893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778141609680363377.post-71675118773343485042010-06-22T02:10:23.276-04:002010-06-22T02:10:23.276-04:00Hi,
