I have to garden in plain old jeans. Well, once in a while I wander around out there in my old terry cloth robe and slippers. I love it that you let Jonathan plant his own garden. I find, for tiny seeds like lettuce, it's easier for those little hands to sprinkle them onto the surface from a large salt or spice shaker. Is there anything in this world...bok choy, yummy! <br /><br />Is there anything in this world that is not made better by doing it in your pajamas? (except maybe firefighting) I love the pic's of your little boy. He's so cute. I have to try this with my nephew. <br /><br />Starting kids off early is so important. You just know that kid will never be the one staring at his PSP for four hours straight. I had to learn by book, which is not the ideal way to learn to garden. I love it! Man I miss that age...my boys are now 14 and 12. My youngest went through a rain boot phase. He had these little black rain boots that he wore with everything...sweats, shorts, jeans, yes, pj's, and even his Christmas best one year! One day we went to the grocery store and he had on denim shorts, a little striped t-shirt, his black rain boots and Army guy gear we bought at the Dollar Store. It was a plastic vest, a plastic hat and a few plastic grenades. He was bombing imaginary bad guys down the aisles all through the store.
